New Student Programs

The International Center is here to help prepare you for your transition to Cal Poly life.  Here are some things we'd like to to do to assist us in that goal.

1. Register for the International Welcome Ambassadors Program 
   This program connects you with other Cal Poly students who have either studied abroad or who are international students. They can help you answer questions and spend time with you, and show you around to introduce you to friends and places in SLO.
2. Register for the Poly Hosts Program
   The International Poly Hosts Program helps foster connections between Cal Poly international students and the Cal Poly community. A Poly Host is a Cal Poly staff or faculty member who has volunteered their time to get to know one, two or even three Cal Poly international students. If you regiser to participate in this program, you will get the opportunity to experience life in the local community through occasional visits with your Poly Host. 
3. Complete the mandatory F-1 Student Online Orientation on PolyLearn
